Now I get the metaphor, right? How many states are there in the U.S.? Also, what’s Washington status?
- Washington, DC, isn’t a state; it’s a district. DC stands for District of Columbia. Its creation comes directly from the US Constitution, which provides that the district, ‘not exceeding 10 Miles square,’ would ‘become the Seat of the Government of the United States.’
So, that’s the parallel, right? That there is a government above all other silos.
Also, what is this safeguard mechanism? Is it about killing the whole Silo in case they misbehave? What about all these people leaving the silo 17?
It’s fascinating how they keep the nerve of all it, for 18 episodes already. It’s a difficult task. At this point I am worried the next two seasons fucking up the whole thing.
Technically, we have just one episode left. I guess we’re going to finish it this weekend and be on par with everyone, waiting for the next season for the next year or two.
