A biopic of Temple Grandin, an autistic American who has become one of the leading scientists in humane livestock handling.
I cannot say it’s a masterpiece, but I can recommend this movie for those who want to understand autistic people and their parents more. I added a new tag, autism.
The other movie is about Raymond, Rainman. Both autists are non-tactile (or how it’s called). Our Nadia loves being tactile. And I do love that too, by the way. I’m very tactile.
I’m happy we finished this movie, as it was on my to-watch list for, well, over a decade. Maybe since 2010 even. And I watched it when I have an autistic child of my own, for 6 years now. (For 3…4 years now as we know she’s autistic. This diagnosis is can be named only after the child is 5 years old, since all kids are autistic to some degree. Yet, some things are obvious much earlier.)
