As a new wave of guests arrive at the White Lotus, resort manager Armond tries to assuage an unreasonable Shane and his easy-going new wife Rachel, while spa director Belinda calms a grieving Tanya. Meanwhile, Nicole suggests her husband Mark distract himself from a health scare by spending time with their son Quinn, who’s been cast out by his sister Olivia and her friend Paula.
Quite good, actually. The atmosphere is quite immersing. I even decided to make a special tag, atmosphere. As even when there is nothing valuable in the movie, the atmosphere is a pretty valuable thing in itself.
P.S. Solomia watched all three seasons within just a weekend (I was out of town for one day, and when I came back home, she was finishing the 2nd season). It doesn’t look like I’m going to continue this series on my own. It wasn’t bad, but I’m not into movies that much.
