As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family’s fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her love of music and her fear of abandoning her parents.
The problem with this tag, masterpiece, that it’s truly hard to issue one. As I’ve been giving this tag to other titles, I ought to give it now too. In retrospect, some works, they’re good, but not really masterpieces. Again, it’s hard to evaluate something as one. All in all, it’s hard to evaluate all these works and do that objectively. Since this is subjective blog, well, I’m slapping a masterpiece on this. It may be not for everyone, but that’s my cup of tea. I like movies like this.
