This episode is much better, here she says right things about fat shaming, all the things related to looks, appearance.
Yet it’s … still rather a WAG story. Come on, girl, you’re not profitable … for how long? Over a decade? I don’t mean any disrespect here, in the sense of ‘LOL, you’re still a WAG’ but rather disrespect because of the denial of the truth. Yes, you worked hard, apparently. (But I wouldn’t be so sure.) Perhaps that’s just not yours. Or is yours and you’re really good, but the market is just different, it doesn’t need what you do. Perhaps, high fashion is just completely different from regular plebs fashion. But if you’re operating as an unprofitable unit, it’s not a success story.
I wonder what’s in the third episode. They ended the second one on such a dramatic note, that it looks like the brand should become wildly successful now. I have no idea, but it looks like that.
So far, it’s an interesting story, in its own way. But not something that can inspire, like the original David’s one.
