World-famous detective Benoit Blanc heads to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery surrounding a tech billionaire and his eclectic crew of friends.

Well, it was a torture to watch, the first hour. Then it got slightly more interesting, after the first (poisoning) murder. And it got really interesting after the second (shot) murder. That’s where an electricity blackout happened (in our reality, after ruzzians bombing us all night long), so, we would finish watching it when we’d have electricity back.

What I didn’t like about the movie is how posh everything is. With these reverences to COVID, it’s really bad, really bad. It feels like they have a checklist of things they wanted to integrate into the movie:

Many things are so off, unnatural, and just mediocre, I think I wouldn’t be past the first hour, if not for my wife. Who watched this already, about a week or two ago, and claimed, ‘well, not that bad as its rating is.’

It’s getting better by the end, at least it’s intruguing, the story. I think that’s true for most detectives as a genre.

Well. It’s a mix of dislike, like, meh, and style. Exactly as my tags go. Also, I added the new tag, detective.
