Washed-up revolutionary Bob exists in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited, self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces after 16 years and she goes missing, the former radical scrambles to find her, father and daughter both battling the consequences of his past.
Is the mother — Pertifida — crazy? I’m not sure I understand.
The whole movie is quite intense.
What were they trying to tell us? Is it something USians trying to tell us? A parody on what the modern day US is?
I liked it overall, and I think I would recommend it even. Honestly, not really sure on this, but I’d just give it some respect for the work Seun Penn and DiCaprio did here.
