Academy Awards — aka Oscars — is pathetic. I have never treated them as something serious, so never a surprise for me.
United States is just another Empire, same as the Soviet Union aka Ruzzia. They do understand each other indeed. Yeah, ignore 2000 Meters to Andriivka.
The film is indeed valuable, and impactful. In a way. I dislike how pretentious it is. It’s too pretentious. Like that ‘Wundering’ Heights (2026), a drama out of nowhere.
A real drama is that they — the inhabitants of this middle of fucking nowhere — don’t understand that there’s no such a thing as Russia. There never was. It was Muscovy for a reason. Moscow does not give a single flying fuck about all of them, and rather laughing their assess off all your whines about your love to the so-called ‘mother russia.’ This guy, talking about how he loves Russia, telling things about the fucking nature. Freezing winters, trees, and some pipes he used to, as he grew up there. These unadapted to living buildings. The fuck was that?
Ostap Ukrainets formulated about this film very beautifully, but I won’t find it, because he wrote that in fucking Facebook.

Ruzzia needs an external control. Ruzzians won’t save ruzzia. They’re incapable of it, and this film shows it alright.
My rating is dislike, but recommend. It’s not a valuable thing in itself, and westerners won’t even read it properly. But at least some ruzzians may, I don’t know, reconsider some things, huh?
