Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
Well, I understand why they won the Academy Award. As much as I despise that award, and devalue it, I think it’s good. The music is great. The musical scene in that place is great too. Apart from that, it feels so short… is it the series that made the persception of full-lenght movies feel like short-format films? It was just two hours. And since we watched it with 5…6 attemps or so, it was like a TV series, 25 minutes each.
Now, we need to watch From Dusk till Dawn (1996) (the Movie DB), which I missed at the time. My mum forbid me to watch it, because of some titties, apparently.
She was panically afraid I’d grow up being gay, yet she panically protected me from seing naked ladies either.
Afterthought
Okay. After watching From Dusk till Dawn (1996) right after this film… I can surely say this one is a masterpiece in comparison. It’s really good. The music is just marvellous. The storyline makes sense. There are many hidden gems you don’t pay attention to at first.
