The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
Watching through the titles:
Martin Scorsese as Hugo Durant (voice)
Ahaha! LOL. The fuck is that? You hired Martin Scorsese just to put him into titles? Sometimes, I think, sometimes they hire someone for the role, only to have a flashy title. Aren’t they?
So, the first half is quite good, the second half is more 12-years-old oriented.
We watched the first hour in the evening, and the 2nd one in the morning.
I’m happy I didn’t watch that in the cinemas. Very bad, but entertaining, if you like the universe.
Muscular Jabba is an interesting novel idea. ‘I’m my own man.’ I thought he’d join the grew, especially after they fought Jabbas. Sad he didn’t.
Overall, I enjoyed it. But you must set the correct expectations. It’s a good movie to watch with the kids, when you’re too tired from too-kids cartoons, and want to watch something together. Hnat enjoyed it, Nadia was pretty indifferent, as always. She only enjoys songs, e.g. in Frozen (the current favourite of hers).
